Nexus Plexus

A closeup view of the Nambung National Park white sands desert in Western Australia. There had been some heavy rains, so I headed out to the desert to see how that had affected the sand dunes. The haze at the top of the shot is actually from the sand being blown from the tops of the dunes.

As a backstory, I had only an hour or so earlier dug my car out from an off-road sand track. The wheels were not even touching the floor, and so I had spent hours digging the sand away from the underside of the vehicle. I had wondered what would happen to me, as there was no mobile signal, and I was quite a few hours walk from a main road. Luckily, some other adventurers had taken the same track and helped with the digging, and we managed to free the vehicle. So I was still in a bit of shock plus exhaustion, as I started my photoshoot. The strong winds only added to the drama of the day.
